1. Why would I want a temporary job?
Temporary jobs are ideal for those who need assistance with their job search. Whether placing you on assignments with our current job openings or skill marketing your resume out to clients, our recruiters can do the work for you. Temporary assignments are also perfect for those who need:

2. Do you have permanent or direct hire job opportunities?
Yes. We often collaborate with our clients to augment their recruiting efforts through our direct hire program.
3. How can I find local job openings my area?
We have many job opportunities throughout the U.S. You can use our job search function to view our posted job openings in your location. If you don’t find something that immediately meets your needs, we welcome you to complete our online application, which will be sent directly the branch off you choose. Please feel free to reach out to your local recruiter to discuss your application and next steps.
4. How quickly can I expect to get hired?
In some cases, we can place you on an assignment the same day you complete your application and in-office paperwork. It all depends on what job openings we have received from our clients and whether your experience is the correct match.
5. What is your hiring process?
All applicants can fill out an online application or come to your local branch office to fill out an application. We conduct in house testing and interviewing for all new hires before placing candidates at any of our temporary jobs. In addition, you will watch brief safety video. All applicants must provide documentation proving that they are eligible to work in the United States and may be asked to submit to a drug test and reference and background checks.
6. Does JMA Placement hire felons?
When deciding whether to recommend a candidate to one of our client, JMA Placement takes into consideration a variety of factors. One of those factors includes whether the individual has a criminal conviction, which may be relevant to a particular job opportunity. Even if you have a criminal conviction, we encourage you to complete an online application. Our Personnel Supervisors will review your history and work experience and determine if you are a candidate for any of our open job positions.
7. Am I eligible for benefits through JMA Placement, Inc.?
All employees will be evaluated for benefits during our ‘annual’ open enrollment period. If eligibility requirements are met, the employee will be offered benefits and premiums will be paid via weekly payroll deductions.
